Development Plan

Central Park is designed for people who want to be walking distance to amenities and transport, and experience a more connected urban lifestyle close to the coast.

The vision for Central Park Mandurah is to create a sustainable, vibrant and connected estate that promotes a strong sense of pride and place for residents and the broader Mandurah community.

To achieve this Project Director Ben Caine assembled the finest team of Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers and Urban Designers to design the project from the ground up with the aim to set a new benchmark for urban development and housing through quality design and an emphasis on social, environmental and economic harmony. The final plan embraces the natural setting and is inspired by the natural features of the site.

A diverse array of modern living options is proposed starting in mid-2014 with a limited supply of sustainable and affordable Architect designed house and land packages on cottage lots. These reflect a relaxed contemporary Australian lifestyle and a strong relationship with the landscape.

Townhouses are proposed in future stages followed by low-rise apartment buildings, whilst along Mandurah Road adjacent to the Mandurah Train Station, office and apartment buildings promise to offer convenient access to public transport and employment options close to home.

Central Park Mandurah is now connected to the Mandurah Station by an iconic pedestrian bridge designed by Gresley Abas Architects and jointly funded by Central Park Mandurah, The Federal Government and City of Mandurah.

In 2011, the Masterplan was awarded a commendation by the Australian Institute of Architects in recognition of the innovative process used to achieve the successful resolution of environmental, community and economic goals for the proposed estate.

With strong design principles from the offset, Central Park Mandurah is destined to be a truly unique and desirable place to live.
